2009 Highlandtown Basement Bar Tour!

How often do you get a chance to snoop around unique houses or relax and have a drink at each of the many Highlandtown gems? Get ready to learn real Baltimore history like: Al Capone lived here and once this house was a brothel - no matter what sparks your curiosity we have it all.

The house bar or club room has been a bastion of home entertainment since the 50's. Experience Highlandtown' s social sanctuaries from ultra mod to tiki'd out.

The tour starts at Schiavone Fine Arts historic basement bar, from there you will follow a map of homes in Highlandtown which showcases the surprising soul of this tight knit community. All the while pursuing the ultimate prize from the Highlandtown scavenger hunt, Two VIP tickets to the 2010 Highlandtown Wine festival, which includes special accommodations at the event as well as attendance to the Homemade Wine judging and dinner.
